Sad News

Debbie Moore of the Country Riding Shop in Setauket lost her father, Tom Stanton over the weekend. Tom Stanton ran a horse shipping business and many of us older folks remember him taking us to shows and longer hauls all over the country. When he was in town, Tom also did a lot of the tack/leather repairs at the Country Riding Shop. As a member of the Country Riding Shop family, I want to express my deep condolences to Debbie and her family.

I'm sorry to hear this news.
Tom shipped horses for me and I still have a noseband that he custom made.

So sorry to hear that. I remember Tom from when I was a girl and he used to be at North Shore Stables(I am really dating myself). He was always so pleasant and always smiling. My sympathies to Debbie and her family.
